ZINAVOR GHUKASYAN
Member of the Constitutional Court (2003 -2009)

Zinavor Ghukasyan was born on May 25, 1939 in Martuni district (Nagorno-Karabakh).

1947-1957 local secondary school.

1958-1961 served in the Soviet Union Army.

1961-1966 entered and graduated from the Law Faculty of the Yerevan State University.

1996-1970 worked as an investigator in the Prosecutor Office of Yeghegnadzor.

1970-1978 worked as the Prosecutor of "Martuni" and "Kalinino" districts.

1978-1982 worked as the Prosecutor in the Department of General Control and Investigative Department of the Republic of Armenia.

1982-1985 was the Chairman of the Court of Shahumyan District.

In 1985 was elected as the member of the Supreme Court of the RA.

In 1998 was appointed as the judge of the Cassation Court of the RA.

1999 - was appointed as the member of the Council of Justice of the RA by the decree of the President of the RA.

1999 - has been awarded by the Highest Degree of Judges Qualification by the decree of the President of the RA.

2003 - was appointed as the member of the Constitutional Court of the RA by the decree of the President of the RA.
