ARTHUR VAGHARSHYAN
Judge of the Constitutional Court

Date of birth – October 7, 1963, Lchashen, Gegharkunik Marz.

1981-1983 – served in the Armed Forces of the USSR.

In 1989 graduated from the Faculty of Law of Yerevan State University. Postgraduate at Yerevan State University.

1993 to present – lecturer at the Faculty of Law of Yerevan State University.

In 1996 defended Ph.D thesis on “Judicial System of the First Republic of Armenia (1918-1920)”.

In 2013 defended a doctorial thesis on “State government system of the First Republic of Armenia (1918-1920)”.

Doctor of Law Sciences, Professor.

1993-1994 – lecturer at the Chair of Civil Law of Yerevan State University.

1994-2002 – assistant at the Chair of Theory and History of State and Law of Yerevan State University.

2002-2005 – associate professor at the Chair of Theory and History of State and Law of Yerevan State University.

2005 to present – Head of the Chair of Theory and History of State and Law of Yerevan State University.

2014 to present – Professor at the Chair of Theory and History of State and Law of Yerevan State University.

On September 15, 2020 was elected as a Judge of the Constitutional Court by the RA National Assembly.
